The teachers at Ivy League Academy nurture children’s hearts & minds. Our blended curriculum is based on the Active Learning Series, the Links to Literacy Program, and Ivy League's Differentiated Instruction Curriculum. With just the right amount of each, we are able to offer each child the best educational experience possible.

Learning at Ivy League

Developed from over 20 years of teaching experience, our unique instruction curriculum tailors our students’ education to Florida’s Early Learning and Developmental Standards from ages 1 year to 3 years. Our VPK Curriculum prepares students for elementary education by introducing them to Florida Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) Standards, Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (N.G.S.S.S.) and Florida School Readiness Performance Standards. Our curriculum includes social-emotional, cognitive, English language acquisition, Spanish language acquisition, emergent literacy, science, mathematics, social studies, and art.

Focused on how students learn, not just what they learn, students are encouraged to think hard to receive information. Research shows us that it is not feasible to transmit knowledge by simply telling students what they need to know. With the Active Learning Series, teachers challenge they way their students think, allowing them to play an integral role in their own education.

Active Learning Series

Links to Literacy builds vocabulary, proper language convention, and reading comprehension skills with tailored lessons and individual approaches to ensure great progress, at a level comparable to, or above, peers their age.
